Recently, in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 84th birthday on August 12th, the Tourism Authority of Thailand designated the month of August 2016 as the official month for female travelers in Thailand and dubbed it #WomensJourneyThailand! Of course, the Women’s Journey Thailand campaign is also aimed at promoting the growth of both global and domestic travel among women in Thailand.
You may be wondering exactly what this exciting new initiative bring to the millions of female vacation-goers that visit the country each month. Basically, TAT has created five different promotional concepts: Beautiful SHAPE, Beautiful RETREAT, Beautiful LOOK, Beautiful MIND, and Beautiful EXPERIENCE, all of which are specifically designed to meet the many wants and needs of female travelers and, of course, to boost Thai tourism products and services that are geared towards women. During the entire month of August, women visiting from around the world will be able to enjoy a huge range of activities, special offers, discounts, privileges, special products and services offered to them by thousands of companies and hotels around the country!
To get a little more in depth, here’s a quick guide to the five separate types of this incredible opportunity for Women’s Journey in August:
Beautiful MIND focuses on products and services provided for ladies who are interested in mental health management. This mostly includes promotions and deals for private massages, meditation practices, and resort getaways. Examples of different companies participating in the Beautiful MIND campaign include the renowned Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa as well as the Ban Sabai Village Resort and Spa!
Beautiful SHAPE is centered around products and services provided for women that can’t get enough of the sporty lifestyle.
